  • Location: International pipeline between MichCon’s Belle River facility in Michigan and Union Gas’ Dawn Hub in Ontario
  • Scope: 21 mile, 24” pipeline, a new path combining in both existing and new assets
  • Capacity: 360 million cubic feet of natural gas per day (mmcf/d)
  • Ownership: 50 percent Spectra Energy; 50 percent DTE Energy
  • In service: 2nd Half of 2010

The Dawn Gateway Project is a 21 mile, 24" international pipeline increasing the storage interconnectivity between Michigan & Ontario increasing access to new sources of supply like Rockies gas and enhancing the competetive market at Dawn Hub. Shippers will be able to move Rockies gas both below and above the Lakes, with Ontario Storage managing the supply/demand fluctuations.
